Andorran Service of Sanitary Attention
SAAS is the management body of the hospital system in the Principality of Andorra. It covers the Nuestra Señora de Meritxell Hospital, eleven primary care centres, the emergencies and ambulances bases, the mental health centre, the El Cedre social-health centre and the school health service.
The triple challenge arose of:
1. Creating a new Data Centre with high security requirements, high availability and energy efficiency.
2. Equipping the new Data Centre with a technological platform, reliable and scalable security, for the supply of uninterrupted services.
3. Giving mobility to the computer system access points for the health personnel respecting the confidentiality of medical data.
